The Righi Hotel was once one of the most exclusive places on the shores of Lake Geneva. During its glory years it was visited by illustrious clients, such as Francis Scott Fitzgerald, the writer of “The Great Gatsby”. The beauty of its surroundings even inspired a few pages of his work “Tender is the Night”. After so many golden years, decadence has set in. The Hotel is now abandoned and the façade dilapidated. However, one thing that seems to have been spared from this sad fate is the view from the Hotel, which is as breathtaking.
